With 6 years of experience in the Web 2 Startup world, with a stronger focus on early-stage startups, Rafael has been exposed to all business-related areas of technology startups. From Business Development, Marketing, Strategy, Human Resources, Admin, and Product Development. He has led teams for the last 4 years, and independent projects inside startups for the last 3 years. He has the necessary experience in setting up teams and initiating new companies and products while managing independent budgets to achieve KPIs.

He was one of the leaders of the team responsible for creating Will Easy, an Online Will Creation Platform in the UK that allows the creation of legally compliant wills in the comfort of your house. This experience has certainly been extremely useful for GenWealth. As for the Blockchain and Web3 Space, Rafael has been on Cardano since 2020, investing but also contributing to many Decentralized Ecosystems such as Deep Funding and

He is one of the Founding Members of Deep Funding Academy, a Project Based Learning onboarding platform for Deep Funding.

Rafael is an active contributor to Project Catalyst, as a Level 2 Reviewer (highest possible level) and a Milestone Reviewer for Projects granted with funding.

In Deep Funding, besides being an Expert Reviewer, Rafael is the Lead of the Events Circle, the Circle responsible for Deep Funding Online events, and a member of the Jobs and Collaboration Workgroup, providing insights and advice from its previous Startup experience with Marketplaces to assist in the creation of a Jobs and Collaboration Platform for Deep Funding.

He is also the Founder of the Cryptocurrency YouTube channel Decentralized Nation, which has contributed positively to building knowledge and relationships in the Web3 Space.
